Massage Therapy is one of the oldest forms of healing. Many cultures, including ancient Roman, Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, and Swedish, used massage to restore and maintain health.
In Canada today, Massage Therapists are healthcare practitioners. They use their scientific knowledge and skills in treating soft tissue conditions to help patients manage acute and chronic health conditions, support rehabilitation, and treat sports injuries.
Massage Therapy also plays a crucial role in preventative medicine by assisting patients in dealing with the stresses of daily life to support their overall health and well-being.
CCMH is in Halifax, Nova Scotia
Sitting next to the Atlantic Ocean, this beautiful and friendly city of 425,000 residents is an excellent place to study, work, and live.
