Open only to degree or diploma holders that have the ability to treat patients, such as massage therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, chiropractors, and kinesiologists, who have a thorough knowledge of human anatomy and body systems.

 Osteopathy is a form of manual healthcare that recognizes the body’s natural ability to self-heal and self-regulate. It focuses on restoring balance through precise palpation and techniques, that support optimal health and function.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice at CCMH builds a strong understanding of the human body and how to assess, treat, and rehabilitate using osteopathic techniques, through 1845 hours of instruction; in both lecture and practice-based courses as well as clinical practicum.

The program is considered part-time and is modular, meaning students complete most modules of the program in-person at CCMH over a 4 or 5-day period (typically Thursday or Friday thru to Monday), approximately 8 times per year.

When in-person classes are held, they are scheduled from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm each day.

Some modules are completed online and include self-directed learning plus various meetings with the instructor via telecommunication software.

 

Investment


The full program is 1845 hours over 4.5 years and concludes with a research paper and presentation.

Tuition for the 2026 intake is $40,488.

The fee schedule is as follows:

Year 1: $8,528

Year 2: $10,192

Year 3: $9,152

Year 4: $9,152

Year 5: $3,464

Our diploma is recognized by the Nova Scotia Association of Osteopaths (NSAO) and other provincial associations across Canada.

Our college is registered with the Private Career Colleges Division of the Nova Scotia Department of Advanced Education, and is currently the ONLY registered Osteopathic Program in Canada!
